Learn about the wind window, power zones and safety equipment. We’ll lead you through mock scenarios and practice safety releases and equipment checks.
What You Get
Test out your new equipment. You’ll learn setup and take down, safety systems, launch and land kites and practice flying the kite through various zones. Once you’ve demonstrated successful kite control, You’ll strap on ski’s/board and learn downwind riding.
What You Need
Bring your Kite Alberta gear, regular downhill ski or snowboard equipment and your brave heart and spirit of adventure.

Learn and practice the importance of body dragging. Once you’ve demonstrated a successful upwind body drag, you’ll strap on a board and learn downwind riding (If time allows).
